Filtration for the equipment you run.
Capture particles. Manage oil mist. Reduce intake noise.
Solberg started with a compressor silencer. Charles H. Solberg Sr. developed a tubular silencer design in 1966, and Solberg Distributing was founded in 1968.
In the following decade the business became Solberg Manufacturing, moved to Itasca, Illinois, and began making larger assemblies and replaceable filter elements. Today the maker's range covers inlet filters, filter-silencers, vacuum process filtration, liquid separators, oil mist filters, and crankcase ventilation. That breadth matters when the job extends beyond a compressor inlet. A vacuum process may need liquid removed ahead of the pump; an engine may need blow-by oil mist captured; an existing housing may need the right replacement element rather than a complete new assembly. Selection starts with the equipment and what is in the stream. Then match flow, connection, media, temperature, and housing material to the specific application. Solberg maintains ISO 9001:2015 certification. SPC Company can help organize the model information and operating requirements for a quote.
SPC Company can help gather equipment, flow, connection, media, and installation details so the request describes the application clearly.
Include replacement-element identification with the housing request.
Send model numbers and photographs for an existing installation.
Service elements in different media, shapes, sizes, and end-cap materials.
Closed crankcase ventilation filters that capture oil mist and particles in engine blow-by.
Housing and vessel choices for applications that need a specific material, coating, or construction.
General Manufacturing → Inlet filtration and silencing for compressors and blowers.
Power Generation → Crankcase ventilation for generator and prime-power engines.
Oil & Gas / Energy → Inlet filters and filter-silencers for gas-compression and process-gas applications.
Chemical & Petrochemical → Solvent-resistant and ATEX-rated filter assemblies for hazardous-atmosphere inlets.
Food & Beverage Processing → Hygienic inlet filtration where compressor air contacts product or packaging. Identify the compressor, blower, vacuum pump, or engine and record its maker and model. These uses call for different filtration arrangements.
Describe dust, liquid, oil mist, or vapor in the stream. For engine blow-by, review ACV crankcase ventilation; for inlet air, review inlet filters and filter-silencers.
Review FS filter-silencers when filtration and intake noise both matter. Confirm the acoustic requirement rather than assuming a filter-silencer establishes workplace compliance.
Send flow, connection size and type, temperature, pressure or vacuum conditions, available space, and housing material requirements. For replacements, include the element and housing numbers and a clear photograph.
